I was born in a country where we treasure family relations, we take care of our elderly. Ever since I came here in the United States, I've been working with the elderly. I have started as a caregiver in a small facility with only 6 residents. I started as a caregiver then became an administrator, I've been with this company for 6 years. For the past 3 1/2 years I also worked as a caregiver at Sunrise Assisted Living in Walnut Creek. The feeling I get from praises and appreciation from family members are so fulfilling in the sense that I know that they are happy and satisfied with the care that I provide with their relatives. The only sad part is that sometimes you get too close to the elderly and when they pass away it hurts so much.
